We’ll be back! ———- UPDATE: I’ve had monthly massages with Marcos for the past year and I can’t even put into words how much he’s helped my back. I had horrible back pain for over a year and my GP and physiotherapist didn’t seem to care. One session with Marcos fixed it. The yurt is beautiful – as soon as you walk in you feel relaxed and safe. Marcos listens and adapts each massage to what you need. There are also loads of meditation, gong bath, and other healing events at the yurt. One of my favourite places in Cardiff.

As soon as I entered… read more the space I was transported and felt like I was instantly on holiday. My senses were delighted by the ambient lighting, music, soft decor and delicate wind chimes. On a personal level I was delighted to have dōTERRA Essential oils which were tailor picked to compliment my stage in pregnancy. The yurt was warm and inviting, it felt like the ideal remedy to City living. We were greeted by Rosie and Marcus who made us feel instantly welcome having never done anything like this before. My massage with Rosie was wonderful, she was extremely intuitive and sympathetic to my late stage of pregnancy. It was the deepest I have ever sunk into relaxation with a massage and I felt extremely safe in her magical hands. The treatment seemed to compliment and reflect the environment perfectly. Our baby even began stretching out her arms and legs slowly at one point which was a lovely connection. I felt like we were both benefiting from the treatment and much needed relaxation. The bed was ever so gently heated which was a lovely touch, it felt like a continuation of being held by Rosie’s magic hands, I couldn’t recommend her enough. It really was a wonderful experience to share with my partner and to take the time out together, both as a shared experience and in our individual treatments. As someone who plays sports but who has never received a full body massage he felt the benefits of Marcus’s treatment. It isn’t something he would ‘normally do’ but he said it was greatly beneficial both physically and for relaxation. ‘Marcus was firm when needed and gentle when needed. I would definitely do it again and have recommended Marcus to my friends who play sports but also as a nice thing to do as a couple.’ It took me a while to come around following the treatment and I was grateful for the light and airy seating area and for the time given to gain my bearings again. We floated out of there and had a long Sunday afternoon siesta feeling blissful, a feeling that has carried on into the week. I would highly recommend visiting Yurt in the City for yourselves or as a very special gift.

With AS, a scoliosis and osteoporosis I was sceptical about getting a massage. The American/British lady seemed to know every fused vertebrae, every seized up muscle in my back… read more and took the pain away from my Sacro Illiac joint – I’m going again! I had no idea that the massage would help me so much! I was pain free, felt lighter, and could move my neck easily for quite a while after that massage. She was wonderful and the atmosphere with weird music playing softly, made me feel very relaxed.

I have been wanting to leave a review for Rosie for so long! Her reiki sessions for me have been life changing. I went to see her with burnout (I… read more am – or was – a medic and all my bloods were normal when I reached a level of not being able to function in any way, in bed with body aches and depression) I left our first session with almost no pain and was amazed by how this could happen. We had 8 more sessions before I left Cardiff. By the end of the 8th session I felt light as a feather and could feel the energy shift. I regularly traveled from London to Cardiff to see her as well. She is the reason why I’m pursuing reiki healing as a practitioner myself. Thank you Rosie! I’m convinced you are an Angel here on Earth just doing what you came here to do 🙏🏼♥️
