Pineda is a mum of two, certified birth and postnatal doula and circle’s facilitator. Pineda understands the importance of support, community and connection during pregnancy and the postnatal period. Her passion and commitment to creating a “village” for new mothers is what makes circles so valuable. She creates a wonderful, safe and inclusive environment where each mother feels heard and understood and friendships can flourish. She offers emotional, practical and informative support during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Pineda began her postnatal doula training in the USA before moving to Cardiff in 2020. In 2023 she was certified as a birth and postnatal doula by Nurturing Birth. She is also certified in postnatal rebozo massage, closing the bones ceremony and birth biomechanics. She is currently completing her training as a lactation consultant.

Postnatal Circles

The aim of this group is to provide a safe and supportive environment for new mothers in the postnatal period and babies don’t crawl yet. To find real connections and share their experiences as new mothers.

Emotional recovery in the postnatal period is essential for overall wellbeing and for feeling strong and empowered in the new role of mother. The incredible yurt provides a sense of calm and intimacy. Add to this the benefits of participating in women’s circles, true spaces of understanding and support without judgement.

Pineda creates these spaces with the help of the special yurt, the power of the group and all her extensive knowledge of the postnatal period, where it is possible to reflect and share about motherhood, mental health, the emotional roller coaster, relationships, body changes, social pressures and so on. She also provides evidence-based information and resources when needed.

Each session includes breath work, circle time, hot tea and chocolate biscuits and guided meditation.

Mondays mornings from 10:30 am to 12pm

We offer drop in sessions and discounted 4 Mondays a month.

Words from Pineda

“I am passionate about supporting a woman through one of the most transformative times in her life, becoming a mother. To help her feel in control and to make her experience as positive as possible. My aim is for the new mother to feel safe and cared for. I consider myself a warm and positive person with great active listening skills and support to make you feel heard, seen and understood. I love creating nurturing spaces and am good at making people feel safe to bring their best intentions to a group, so that they can benefit from the amazing energy that comes when women come together in a circle”

"I first met Pineda through the pregnancy circles she was facilitating in Cardiff. After I had my bub, I booked a closing the bones and Pineda was the perfect person for it. She is warm, respectful, intuitive and skilled. My rebozo massage felt nourishing, healing, and safe. Would highly recommend."

"I absolutely loved the Postnatal circles held by Pineda. I had previously attended the prenatal circles and they were such a supportive healing space that i had to sign up for the postnatal circles! Tanya and Pineda create a calm, relaxed space where mums and babies can truly be themselves.
