Having worked in an office for over 10 years and feeling somewhat confined behind a desk, I decided to train to become a massage therapist in the pursuit of a more rewarding career. In 2016 I trained as a holistic massage therapist at the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork, which was a truly transformational experience. I was amazed at how much of an effect receiving a massage could have on my mind, and I found I had much more clarity and freedom from worries and stress after each weekend. Giving massages also had a similar effect, so it was win win!
I’m now qualified with a Level 4 Diploma in Holistic Massage with Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. I am fully insured, a member of the Massage Training Institute and undertake ongoing training to continually improve the way I work.
I offer a massage treatment that is tailored to each client. I work sensitively, taking into account an individual’s physical health and emotional wellbeing. So whether you’re feeling tension in your shoulders and back from work, have sore muscles from exercising or maybe just feel a little (or a lot!) stressed, holistic massage is a great way to help your own body repair itself, and help you feel more relaxed and restored.
I’m looking forward to sharing what I have learnt with you.
